Active911 Integration
AngelTrack can push CAD data to your Active911 account, enabling notifications to your crew members.
AngelTrack can automatically push relevant trip data to your Active911 account, which automatically disseminates notifications to your crews.
Configuration
To configure and activate the integration, perform the following steps:
-
Login to AngelTrack with Administrator or Captain privileges.
-
Ensure the "Pulsara + Active911 Integration" add-on license is active. To learn more about add-on licenses, please visit the Feature Buffet Guide.
-

-
Follow the instructions on the page to retrieve your Active911 account's alert email address, and input it into AngelTrack.
-
Upon returning to the Settings page, click the Preferences item, and verify that the ☑ Crew members can elect to be emailed or texted about dispatch assignments preference setting is enabled.
Limitations
This integration extends AngelTrack's crew notification system, and so has the same capabilities and limitations:
-
Messages sent from AngelTrack to Alert911 travel by email and so may be delayed by a minute or two, or possibly much longer;
-
The included data is drawn from AngelTrack's dispatch records at the time of call assignment, and so might be incomplete;
- Preassignments to future (scheduled) calls, and to future (scheduled) shifts, are fully supported. Notifications for these future events are automatically delayed until the associated dispatch activates.
-
Multi-unit responses are fully supported.
The Alert911 integration has additional limitations, above and beyond those of AngelTrack's standard notification system:
-
No notifications are sent for unassignments or reassignments, except when the unassignment/reassignment occurs immediately after the initial assignment such that AngelTrack has enough time to cancel the original notification.
-
No notifications are sent for trip updates, cancellations, or postponements; in those situations, the dispatcher must contact the crews directly, or they must also use AngelTrack's regular messaging system.
-
Only one notification is sent to Alert911 per trip assignment, regardless of how many crew members are onboard the assigned vehicle. The notification specifies the callsign, not the long name, of the responding vehicle. These callsigns must be configured inside your Alert911 account.
Deactivate / Reactivate
You may freely deactivate or reactivate the integration at any time, by removing or re-adding your Alert911 alert email address from the Alert911 Configuration page in AngelTrack.
