Using the Report Builder, see how to filter your dispatches report by the crew members who were onboard.
This guide is for Report Builder, accessible under AngelTrack's Data Hub. You must have an active add-on license to use Report Builder.
Filter Setup
To filter by the crew members who ran a call, your report must include the Dispatches-Crew dataset, in addition to whatever other datasets you need.
To then permanently filter the report by the presence or absence of certain crew members, complete these steps:
- Open the sidebar, if it's not already open.
- In the sidebar, switch to the Filters tab.
- In the Filters tab, scroll to find the "Dispatches-Crew" column group.
- In that column group, find the "Crew List" column, and expand its filter options.
- In the filter options, select "Contains" or "Not contains", and input the crew member's full name in "Last, First" format. If the crew member's last name is unique, then you don't need to include their first name.
- Optionally, use the AND/OR feature to specify a second crew member's name in the filter.
Quick Filtering
You can also quick-filter for the presence of certain crew member names. Make sure that the "Crew List" column is present in the grid, and then input the crew member's full name (in "Last, First" format) in the quick-filter box that sits below the grid.
Filtering by the Attending / OIC
If you are simply looking to filter on who was the attending / officer-in-charge, the Dispatches-Overview dataset has a column named "Attending Employee Name" which contains that information.
